RIP Alex Chilton.
I realized just now that I had posted lots of videos and songs on Facebook in the name of his passing, but neglected to do so here. This here thing's not much of a blog, but at the same time - this is what it is. I should use it for things like this... Time passes by so casually. It's easy to forget about silly, important things. Random events pop up as reminder. A happy thought like baby Zoe's arrival or even a tragic one like a threadbare hero passing, all bring home some basic sentiments that seem absurdly daft to articulate. Such as "I'm so glad I'm alive here with you" or "God bless your soul you beautiful creature". Goodnight Zoe and Goodnight Alex. Pleasant dreams. You are loved.
