Going back East to the places from my childhood is always a bit surreal, but this trip to Nantucket has been made that much stranger due to the 80s music that seems to seep out of every radio in every place I go. The obligatory Bowie, AC/DC, Guns N Roses, Steve Perry and the like have been overshadowed by the more surprising Billy Joel. I must admit, I don't own one cd's worth of his stuff but perhaps should do something to change that soon. In spite of all of the saxamaphone and synths... he sure had some classics. You May Be Right could easily be a Stones hit. Often times, he sounds very much like a blue collar, American Beatles. And that doesn't suck in the least. For all I know...
