Long story short. Cool music collaboration got stuck due to legal woes. Sounds like that Grey Album that I am sure noone has ever heard...

A spokesperson for Danger Mouse says that "due to an ongoing dispute with EMI" the book of photographs will "now come with a blank, recordable CD-R. All copies will be clearly labeled: 'For legal reasons, enclosed CD-R contains no music. Use it as you will.'" While offering no specifics, EMI has acknowledged the legal dispute with Danger Mouse and released a statement saying, "Danger Mouse is a brilliant, talented artist for whom we have enormous respect. We continue to make every effort to resolve this situation and we are talking to Brian Burton (Danger Mouse) directly. Meanwhile, we need to reserve our rights."

Even if you don't want to hear this -- you should read about it just so you can see how strange things can get... This write up is hilarious.

1979 - STAR WARS Drunk Driving PSA Commercial

This makes me wonder how many times George Lucas.. or someone else who was a key figure on Star Wars was caught drivving drunk...  I'd like to think a community service sentence is the only reason why something this awful ever really got created. Also, it doesn't even make sense - as I recall there were plenty of people leaving The Cantina all blotto and driving around in various little space crafts. I suppose if this ad even saves only one nerd or drunken space puppet's life, it was worth it.
